EPCHS Scholarship Board Student Scholarships

Deadline: March 16, 2020

For: EPCHS Seniors

Award amount: varies.

Applications have been e-mailed to all seniors, and paper copies can be picked up in the Counseling Office.  Completed applications and supplemental documents must be turned into Mrs. Beglin in the PPS Center by the March 16th deadline.

 

Marquette Bank Education Foundation Scholarship

Deadline: April 22,, 2020

For: Members of the EPCHS Class of 2020 who have demonstrated scholastic achievement, community service, and have a financial need.

Award amount: $2,500

Applications are available in the Counseling Office.  Turn in completed applications to Mr. Eisenbraun.

 

Our House Wealth Advisors Scholarship

Deadline: April 1, 2020

For: Female high school seniors.   To apply, please write a one-page essay on the topic of: Why you want to study business or finance.  Include how you plan on using your degree after college, what impact a college degree will have on your future, how having a mentor will help you achieve your goals, and how you can help other woman and girls pursue their academic goals in the future as a result of being a scholarship recipient.

Award amount: a $500 scholarship, 2-week paid internship, along with mentoring throughout college and beyond.

Tri-State Desk and Derrick Club Technical or Trade School Scholarship

Deadline: April, 1, 2020

For: Illinois residents planning to attend an accredited technical or trade school.  Must have a career goal in the natural gas and oil industry.

Award amount: up to $3,000

Joint Civic Committee of Italian Americans Women’s Division Scholarship

Deadline: received at the organization by April 15, 2020

For: High school senior girls who must have at least one parent of Italian descent with a minimum 3.0 GPA who will be enrolling full-time in a 2 or 4 year college or vocational/technical school.

Award amount: $2,000

The John Fischetti Scholarship

Deadline: received at the organization by April 30, 2020

For: High school senior of at least 50% Italian ancestry with a minimum 3.0 GPA who will be enrolling full-time in a college with the intent of establishing a major in journalism or media communication.

Award amount: $2,000

Illinois Sheriff’s Association College Scholarship

Deadline: March 15

For: HS Seniors that will be attending an Illinois college or university full time in the 2020-2021 academic school year.

Award amount: (4) $500 scholarships

Chicagoland Roofing Council 2020 Scholarship

Deadline: March 6, 2020

For: High school seniors with at least a 2.75 GPA and who is a dependent of a member of Local #11 or a Local 11 contractor.

Award amount: $2,000

CRCA Foundation Scholarship

Deadline: March 6, 2020

For: High school seniors who are planning on attending a 4-year institution and entering into the following fields of study: liberal arts & sciences, engineering, architecture, or business.  Students must a have an ACT composite score at or above 29, or the SAT equivalent of  a 1340 or above.

Award amount: $4,000

Dixie Belle Paint Company Scholarship

Deadline: July 31, 2020

For: Open to all high school students pursuing higher education

Award amount: Up to $3,500

Lockheed Martin STEM Scholarship

Deadline: March 12, 2020

For: High school seniors with a minimum 3.5 GPA planning to major in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Math, Physics, Information Systems/Management Information Systems or Information Assurance, demonstrate financial need and be willing to consider a paid internship with Lockheed Martin

Award amount: $10,000

American Fire Sprinkler Association Scholarship Contest

Deadline: April 1, 2020

For: High school seniors who plan to further their education at a college, university, or certified trade school. To enter, you must read the "Fire Sprinkler Essay" then take an open - book, ten - question, multiple - choice test. Students will receive an entry into a drawing for each question answered correctly.

The Order Sons & Daughters of Italy College Scholarships

For: Graduating high school seniors of either full or partial Italian ancestry.

For: High school seniors who will be attending a 2 or 4 year college.

The Golden Apple Scholars of Illinois

Deadline: April 3, 2020

For: High school seniors who are interested in teaching profession.  Scholars must agree to

teach for five years in a designated low-income or low-performing Illinois school.

Award amount: $23,000

Burger King Scholars Award

Deadline: When 50,000 applications have been submitted

For: High school seniors who have a GPA 2.5 or higher, and must work part-time an average of 15 hours per week, 40 weeks per year.
